GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Head of Partner Acquisition and Expansion owns the growth of English 1’s learning centre network end-to-end: identifying and securing new partner groups, structuring expansion with existing partners, and driving each approved centre from signed agreement to successful commercial opening. The role carries the annual new centre target and is accountable for both the quality of partners brought into the network and the readiness of centres at launch.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assess prospective partners against defined criteria, including capital adequacy, operating capability, local market position, and cultural fit with English 1 standards
Lead commercial discussions through to signed agreement, coordinating with Legal and Finance on terms, territory, and fee structure
Own expansion conversations with existing partner groups, converting proven operators into multi-centre commitments
Maintain a national territory map identifying priority cities and catchments for expansion, supported by demand, competitive, and demographic analysis
Maintain a rolling 12-month expansion pipeline aligned to the annual plan
Act as project owner for each approved centre from agreement to opening, managing the critical path across site selection and fit-out, licensing, recruitment, staff certification, systems setup, and pre-opening marketing
Arrange regular project reviews with partners and internal functions; escalate risks to opening dates early
